Yin Ching began her Pilates journey a few years ago after the birth of her second child. It was after a random visit to a chiropractor that she realised she has scoliosis. Instead of relying on chiropractors, she decided to try out a private session of Pilates. It was that private session of Pilates that started her journey in Pilates. She realised that she has not learnt the essence of Pilates from her group sessions that she has attended occasionally over the past few years.
Starting of as a Pilates client, she began to feel the benefits of Pilates. She felt better in her alignment, her mobility in the spine, her strength, her body awareness etc. Overall Pilates made her feel good. To further deepen her understanding of Pilates, she decided to pursue the Polestar Mat Certification Course and is now a certified Polestar Mat instructor.
She's currently pursuing her Polestar Comprehensive Certification. Yin Ching is glad she has chosen this career path as it allows her to be fitter and still have time for her young children, something that wasn't really an option when she was in the corporate sector.
